Migrate from Notion to Equilibrition without rebuilding everything

Notion is highly flexible, but that freedom often creates a workspace that feels heavy to move. The goal is not to clone every view: it is to recover the useful data, place it in a more guided cockpit, then review what remains as source context.

The reliable path today is to export Notion as Markdown & CSV, import the CSV files into Equilibrition, then attach Markdown pages and files as notes or resources.

The 3 migration steps

Export from Notion

Open the root page or workspace settings, choose Export, select Markdown & CSV, include subpages, include files and images, then upload the ZIP without changing it.

For a database, export an unfiltered view so rows are not accidentally skipped.
Keep the full ZIP: CSV files carry properties, Markdown files carry page content.

Import the CSV into Equilibrition

CSV import works today. Use the CSV files from the ZIP to create projects, tasks, structured notes, and resources, then add private files from the same export.

Plain pages become Equilibrition notes.
Relations exported as URLs are reconciled after the objects are created.

Review the mapping

Compare source and imported counts, open key projects, review important fields, and mark formulas or views as provenance rather than recreated logic.

Views, filters, sorts, templates, automations, formulas, and rollups are not recreated automatically.
A review pass avoids treating a provenance link as a true business relationship.

Watchouts

Limits to know before importing

Notion does not export every view at once: choose the most complete view.
Some CSV relations are plain text URLs and may require manual confirmation.
Permissions, comments, and history are not always business data that should be imported.

More automated imports may arrive progressively, but this guide relies only on the Markdown & CSV export path available today.
