Migrate from Reclaim to Equilibrition with a composite migration

Reclaim orchestrates tasks from other tools, native tasks, habits, focus, and meetings. Without a documented general export, migration must rebuild the source of truth without duplicating the calendar.

Starting format

Composite CSV from sources and calendar

CSV

CSV import available today

The reliable path today is to export original sources and Google Tasks when available, prepare a migration CSV, import that CSV into Equilibrition, then reconcile the calendar.

Path

The 3 migration steps

1

Export from Reclaim and its sources

Identify the tools feeding tasks into Reclaim, export them through their usual paths, then export Google Tasks through Takeout if Reclaim 1.0 sync is available.

  • Keep Reclaim active until the reconciliation report is complete.
  • If Google Tasks is unavailable, use a short CSV template or request an export from support.
2

Import the CSV into Equilibrition

CSV import works today. Import original-source tasks or Google Tasks, then add priority, duration, dates, allowed windows, and calendar references in the CSV.

  • Focus blocks and breaks remain calendar block types, not new tasks.
  • Habits go through a recreation assistant instead of automatic cloning.
3

Review the mapping

Deduplicate with source identifiers and URLs, then with title, date, duration, and calendar-block proximity before confirming the migration.

  • A Reclaim block is not the canonical source for a task already imported from Todoist or Asana.
  • Meetings remain existing calendar events and are never duplicated.

Watchouts

Limits to know before importing

  • Reclaim does not document a general migration export or API.
  • The Google Tasks sync mentioned applies to Reclaim 1.0 and must be visible in the account.
  • Habits, detailed rules, and routines must be recreated with guidance.

Coming later

A broader Reclaim connector is not available today; this guide deliberately stays limited to composite CSV import and duplicate checks.
