Migrate from Sunsama to Equilibrition with a CSV or JSON export

Sunsama centers on daily planning. Its CSV or JSON account export makes it possible to migrate tasks without duplicating blocks already present in Google Calendar or Outlook.

Starting format

CSV or JSON converted to CSV

CSV

CSV import available today

The reliable path today is to export Sunsama as CSV or JSON, convert when needed into a CSV Equilibrition can import, then review channels, tasks, and reconciled calendar blocks.

Path

The 3 migration steps

1

Export from Sunsama

Open Sunsama settings, go to Account Management, click Export my data, then choose CSV for direct import or JSON if you want to preserve more structure before conversion.

  • Check the exported workspace if you have more than one.
  • Keep the original file as the control source.
2

Import the CSV into Equilibrition

CSV import works today. Import tasks, subtasks, notes, assignments, dates, planned durations, and source links after converting JSON if needed.

  • Channels become domains, projects, or labels after confirmation.
  • Calendar blocks are reconciled with tasks instead of being duplicated.
3

Review the mapping

Review task counts, subtasks, start and due dates, planned durations, completed states, and links to source integrations.

  • Planning routines, daily goals, and analytics are not imported as Equilibrition objects.
  • The connected calendar serves as the reference for blocks that were actually scheduled.

Watchouts

Limits to know before importing

  • The export covers the main workspace: review which workspace was exported if you have several.
  • Routines, daily goals, analytics, and interface settings are not migrated.
  • Blocks already present in Google Calendar or Outlook should not become duplicate tasks.

Coming later

A richer import may read Sunsama JSON more directly later; today, the safe step remains imported and reviewed CSV.
