Migrate from TickTick to Equilibrition with a CSV backup

TickTick combines tasks, habits, and focus data. A clean migration separates actionable work that belongs in Equilibrition from proprietary or statistical data that should remain source context.

The available path today is straightforward: generate the CSV backup from TickTick web, import that CSV into Equilibrition, and review the detected headers.

Export from TickTick

From TickTick web, open the avatar menu, Settings, Account, then Backup and Import. Generate the backup, download the CSV, and keep the original file.

The CSV schema can vary: do not rename columns before preview.
Export an anonymized sample if you want to test mapping before the full import.

Import the CSV into Equilibrition

CSV import detects lists, tasks, subtasks, notes, tags, priorities, dates, recurrence, and statuses when the columns are present.

Folders and lists become domains or projects depending on their level.
Attachments are imported only when a usable URL is provided.

Review the mapping

Validate column names, statuses, recurring tasks, and TickTick-specific items such as habits, focus, or statistics.

Habits and Pomodoro data remain unsupported until Equilibrition has a dedicated model for them.
Unrecognized fields are preserved as provenance to avoid silent loss.

Watchouts

Limits to know before importing

The exact TickTick CSV schema is less documented: header detection must be reviewed.
Habits, focus data, and statistics are not native Equilibrition objects today.
Some attachments may remain as links if the export does not provide a retrievable file.

Coming later

An API may simplify some accounts later, but this guide stays grounded in the user-side CSV backup available now.
